Mambo with Derrick @Zouk
$BlogItemTitle$>
Derrick called unexpectedly and jio-ed me to Mambo@Zouk. I was like "huh?mammo?huh?mumo?huh?" Crazy stunt I call it, considering there's work on Thursday. And the fact that I had diarrhoea since morning. STUPID VADAI THEY SELL AT THE PASAR MALAM. I seriously think that the authorities have to do SOMETHING about the food hygiene in these places. But I'd just blame myself for even buying the food even though we ALL know it's dirty. And PLEASE- don't come and give me this shit about hawker food having to be dirty to be nice. Go hold your wedding in a slum, swines.
I have to say that my rants are very disorganised. I was just talking about Zouk and vadai comes into the picture. It's just that my tummy is still grouching from the killer vadai. Back to Zouk. I was seduced! Heck the tummyache. Met up with Derrick, Darren and Belinda. Dek's worried that he might be groped and everything when I told him about the raging gay community so I was like "He's str8. Don't touch him."
Analysis:
Music: We all know it's mambo-nite.
DJ : The DJ rots. Tempo switches abruptly with awkward moments of silence- when the lights comes on.
Crowd: ED. It's far too packed. And hoards of people just try to grind through you to get to the dancefloor. It was irritating. Complete turn-off.
Drinks: Safe.
Overall: TOO MUCH DRY-ICE.
Thot I had a nice catch back there. Turns out that the ones you don't get comes closest to you. Complete turn-off. Derrick, nice grinding there with the lady I can barely picture. And the obese one. And the one whose boobs were pulsating in your face. But no hits for you BooOOOooOOo. Evanne's galfriends all attached somemore. Zilch. But that guy had a firm grip. Impressive.
Thank god there was supper cos I went on an empty stomach. Then it was loitering all the way into the wee hours of the morning cos Derrick refuses to take a cab and we concussed at the busstop at Hotel Phoenix. Pathetic. Took the 1st train and missed my stop. As I sauntered groggyly to the train, I bumped into Colin. No. Colin bumped into me. I was non-existent.
