Hee...Crossing Borders concert tonite...woke up damn early, considering how late i chiong-ed till last nite...hmm...couldnt find any textile shops in bedok interchange...so wu liao..so i got jaja to bring me a black skirt instead...to cover up my nice thighs in case someone sees me zhao geng..anyways...supposed to meet the basses at 1045 but so many ended up coming late...so we had no time to eat and had to takeaway instead...bot subway melt..but din had a nice time eating cos i was stuffin it into my mouth in the dressing room's toilet...and we were rushing off for rehearsal...so my tummy was full wif blocks of subway unmelt since it was cold...
anyways...we sounded quite good at esplanade...miss tt feelin manz...i hate the choir room...so blasting..hmm...costume frenzy was on...i wear the skirt so slutty lor...haaha...butt huggin...but i look nice in it..hee...to the disgust of many ppl...lol..but who cares? hee...photo frenzy was on too...we took pics like nobody's business...then the Alto gals like vid-taped their INTERESTING cheers abt DA NU REN XIAO NU REN...big woman small woman...jokes sia..aiyo...i take foto not nice lor..no makeup on...i looklike a drug addict...goodness...i only put on makeup b4 the actual show...concealer only la..to hide my darkeye rings...abyss of eternal darkness...even after thick layers still can see lor...from black to blue black...lol...jean was like dun put on the upper eyelid...for wad....and i told her...aiyo...my dark eye RINGS...is spreaded over the whole area wan....so sad rite...lol...but i tink i look better after makeup...i tink ill go to sch like this nxt time just like last time in sec sch...call me a vainpot...lol...i dunch care...
actually performance wise...it was quite okie la...i wasnt tt nervous....dunch see the need too...
1. It's a small world: Boring..unison...but i sang in falsetto wif glenn so quite fun...can blast in falsetto in concert...not much of a chance for a bass...lol...
2. Hebrew love song: quite nice la...the lighting was kinda sweet...purplish...and the gals sounded pro with the acoustics...many of my friends liked it...
3. Guantanamera: Grrr....im standin between cheong seng and ruiyang...both of them wearin leather booty shoess...CS's looks potentially crippling for a barefooted jap like me lor..he stepped on mine countless times le...in the end its ruiyang...my feet like throbbed lor..
4. Te Quiero: Should be another fave among the audience..it was kinda nice la....but the baritones and mezzo parts so unfeelin...
5. Salve Regina: Hmm...i shld sae its on the better side as compared to gross salve side? culd have been better...but cheh...
6. Minoi minoi: all the seductive dynamics GONE...i tink TP choir is some choir tt will just lose things and nvr find them back...dynamics is one...as usual, the first few bars is ALWAES out of tune for some...*rolls eyes*
7. Yuki Nohi: normal lor...not amazing...but safe...lol...i sound like paula the fuck monkey on AI...
8. Arirang: Nothin can be done abt "THE PHRASE"...but i tink dynamic build up and emo culd have been more substantial la...
9. Chinese Medley: Haha...we went out of tempo...but slowly gain back our posture...but i thot it was kinda obvious...
10. Malay Medley: HOPELESS...poor jean looks like a idiot giving tempo cues to ppl who dun give a damn...the choir basically sped up in a bar...wow...efficiency...
