There's this light in me..
One that longs to shine
through the layers of hide.

People do not see this light
Is it because i hide the rays from them
or that all they see is the dark shadow i cast
but not the light within me...

As time passes,
the light grows stronger
and more intense
but the hide still holds
it within the dark cold cell.

I can't see myself in my shadow.
The dark silouette does not show all of me.
I'm sure of it,
I guess...

Is it light
that simply cast this shadow of mine?
Or is it the emptiness
i feel
that fills the dark void of the shadow?

I'm not sure...
I guess i'll never know...
